Summary: excellent boat flashlight
Comment: After several flashlights, pelicans, everready, etc. because they stopped working in a harsh marine environment, this one flashlight has now been constantly working for 5 years. It's extremely bright and durable. Because it has a 12 volt rechargeble base you can secure it to a bulkhead and forget about it. It will always be ready when you need it and always in the same location. That's in and of itself is invaluable on a boat where most things are crammed into the same couple drawers.

I use this light for a security assignment at a camping resort , so when I need light , I need extra bright light and it has to be reliable. I would recommend this maglight to anyone..........excellent product.

Summary: The Perfect Flashlight
Comment: My husband and I bought our first maglite almost two years ago, and its still working like its new. He uses it nightly at work. He can get about a weeks to two weeks usuage out of it before he has to charge it. We bought the second for home use because we got tired of buying batteries for the small maglites you get from wal-mart. We love our new rechargable as much as the old one. I bought it about a month ago and use it about once a week. I havent had to charge it once. The only complaint I have had about maglite is that the button on the first one has fallen off but it is still working fine other then that.
