Comment: I don't recommend buying this if there is even a slight chance a squirrel can get to it. The ports are plastic and I think they like the taste of them. I have had to replace the ports, through the maker, 3 times now. Plus the squirrels have learned to pull them out and let the seed fall to the ground. If the maker could desing the ports out of metal, this would be a great feeder.

Comment: I recently purchased two of these feeders to replace two others that were destroyed by a black bear. This feeder is well made and a really good buy. Similiar feeders are twice the price. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Squirrel Proof My Eye
Comment: If squirrels hadn't completely chewed up this feeder, I'd return it and demand my money back. The only thing that could make this feeder squirrel proof is if someone sat underneath it with a pellet gun.
