Comment: Not since moving away from New York, sorely missing CD101.9FM Smooth Jazz radio, have I been pleasantly reminded of their programming. This CD is a sexy compilation of classic jazzy styles, fused together to make one delicious-sounding continuous stream of relaxing yet upbeat sounds.
Patti Austin's throaty voice blends with an eclectic mix of original and haunting sounds - my favorite "groove" is Michael Lington's "Twice in a Lifetime".
Try it while driving to mellow out in traffic. Also perfect listening when preparing a meal or kicking back after your hectic day, great way to relax.
