Customer Rating: Summary: I love it! Comment: I have looked at different steamers off n on for awhile, finally chose this one! I love it! It doesn't take the place of an iron, I don't know why people would think it would, quite honestly, BUT I can use it for 90% of things. I had practice using a steamer years ago, so maybe it has helped now. But, I steamed my drapes and put folds in them! It was easy and fun! Stayed up late the night I got it, playing! Great shipping time. It is easy to setup and use.
Customer Rating: Summary: Works great when not leaking Comment: I purchased this less than a year ago. The unit worked great for approx 3 months until I woke up to a soaked floor. The unit leaked between the bucket and the steamer. I inspected the entire steamer and can't figure out how or why it's leaking. I called Jiffy and was told that the unit is under warranty (one year) and should be returned to Amazon. I contacted Amazons return department was told if I cannot exchange the item, only return and receive a 'reduced' refund. So I'm stuck with a steamer that needs drained after ever use. I will not buy from Amazon or Jiffy again simply because of the customer service.
Customer Rating: Summary: Never have to iron again...Priceless Comment: I've been using it for months now and our clothes never looked better. I had the technique down by the fourth garment (mostly). It's easy to assemble and use. I have not burned myself but if you get careless you could. Don't use it with children around. It doesn't work well on heavy fabrics like denim but hey, no one is perfect. We are really happy with it.
Customer Rating: Summary: good stuff Comment: It can take wrinkles out of almost anything. It's especially useful for things like curtains and bedsheets that would be a MAJOR pain to iron. I use it mainly for my dress shirts. I really would like to use it on my dress pants as well, and sometimes I do, but in my experience, it tends to slightly soften the creases, so I'm very careful how I use it on my dress pants. If I had a pant press to go along with this, it would be the perfect combination.
Customer Rating: Summary: Buy an iron Comment: This is great for sensitive clothes. If you can use an iron...do it. It will save you a lot of money and works a lot better.
