Summary: One Fine Magazine!
Comment: We received This England Magazine gift subscription for years from one of my husband's friends, who lives in England, and always read it from cover to cover. When Amazon announced their magazine department, I was so happy to see This England and it is much more reasonable from Amazon than from the publisher (probably due to shipping charges).
Way to go , Amazon! I have ordered other magazines subscriptions and Amazon prices are good!

Summary: For English patriots
Comment: This large format quality magazine is attractive and well-produced. It mostly celebrates the England of between the wars and just after WW2. Don't confuse this with a BRITISH magazine; it is definitely English and proud of it, and champions English values and customs of the 1930's, 40's, and 50's and takes a strong anti-Europe stand. It is well written and illustrated but is published only four times a year. Don't forget St George's Day on April 23! If you don't know who St George is, you may not appreciate this quarterly . . .
