Customer Rating: Summary: Disappointed Comment: Right from the start, getting the unit to light seemed to be a problem... and the same difficulty has been encountered with each use (seems like a lot of gas is wasted just getting it lit). Also, I didn't realize until buying the gas bottles how unhandy and expensive it would be to be limited to use of the "skinny" bottles. Being able to use the bottles that I already buy for camping (shorter and a bit fatter) would make things easier and less costly. As for weed kill results, though I've tried my best to follow the directions, I can't confirm any weed kill. Also, holding the flame above the weeds (so as to bake to the roots rather than just burn the tops) seems to result in a ratio of a lot of gas consumed to few weeds killed (or, kills attempted). So, if weed kill is accomplished, it seems to be done at too high a price.
My observation so far is that this weed burner: (1) Is hard to light (2) Is expensive to use (3) Provides questionable results.
