Comment: I bought 2 and had to send 2 back before I could get us both working -- and even now sometimes the system just locks up and I have to quit the chat program and launch it again.

Comment: This camera works well for Skype but as most if not all of you know, Ichat is a different beast all together, since I was looking for an inexpensive way to video conference via Skype I'm fairly happy w/ this but the picture quality isn't the greatest. At around $33.00 including shipping I cannot complain. Alls well that ends well.

Summary: Good camera but EXTRA SOFTWARE PURCHASE REQUIRED FOR MAC USE
Comment: This is a great little camera and a good value for what you get. That said, if you have a Mac, you MUST *BUY ADDITIONAL SOFTWARE*. It should only be $5, but this isn't stated anywhere on the packaging - you may figure this out only after troubleshooting why it won't work with iChat/Skype. A good value for a little flexible, portable camera, but be aware that there's an additional cost involved.
