I have very fair skin so my under-eye circles can look quite pronounced, and I have searched high and low for a product to help hide them. The yellow of the lemon-aid helps counter balance the blue of my under eye circles and the texture is substantial enough to last. The product is thick, but I don't need much of it. All I do is very lightly sweep my finger over the surface of the make-up and that gives me enough to do the job. I also use it on my lids, and it gives me a bright-eyed wide awake look. I'm 30 now and this tends to brighten my entire face up (even though I only use it around my eyes) -- I love how youthful it makes my eyes look and this is one of the products that I'm sure I will use forever. It makes a decent base for eyeshadow, but I got it because I wanted my eyes to look brighter without eyeshadow.
The texture was not great either. It looked "crease-y" very quickly and didn't glide on when I applied it- I had to pat it on.
I would suggest trying this at a store before buying it so you can see how it works for you! I wish I had! Customer Rating: Summary: excellent buy Comment: I LOVE this product. I wear it just about everyday and it makes a HUGE difference on how my eyes looks. I have dark undereye circles that I use concealer for but something that is not as often addressed in the makeup world is upper eyelid darkness/discoloration. (Most concealers are not good to use on your upper eyelid as they will crease and will make any eyeshadow you're wearning not last as long.) When I wear this I look so much healthier and awake, as opposed to looking tired and sick. I told a friend about it once and she was like oh THAT'S why your eyes always look amazing!! Before this the last thing I got compliments on were my eyes. Even though it makes a huge difference, the best part is it DOES NOT look like you are even wearing anything if you put the right amount on. By the way, to make it last as long as possible, I have found dabbing and blending work best as opposed to just smearing it across your eyelid. But even if you find that it is not lasting the whole day, it is very easy and quick to reapply and it will give a nice refreshed look. If you don't believe me, the first time you try it just put it on one eye and stand back and look at yourself..you WILL be amazed. And it lasts forvever- I am only on my second thing of it and I have been wearing it for like 3 years now.
P.S. I definitely recommend purchasing this- but just get it from Sephora, their returns are hassle free. Customer Rating: Summary: Not just for eyes... Comment: I LOVE this product! This was one of the first benefit products I tried. I bought it in the Benefit Cosmetics Realness Of Concealness kit (which is a great way to try out lots of neat products). My eyelids are often red and the small blood vessels show through the skin. You gently pat this product on with the tip of your finger and viola! No more tired red eyes! I pat a little on under the eye as well as a brightener. It gives you a very refreshed look. It also works great all over your face. I use it anywhere I have redness, like blemishes or blotchiness.
