At the time, I didn't even notice there was eyeshadow on the end with the sponge applicator, so that's just a "bonus" to me! But I got this eyeliner in "Stone," which I think is the most perfect everyday color for eyeliner. Black is just way too harsh for me! This grayish-brown color perfectly highlights my green-hazel eyes. I've found that the liner stays on best when smudged slightly, and put on after using Urban Decay eyeshadow primer (another product I adore). Including the shimmery shadow, you get a lot of bang for your buck ($20, gulp)! Definitely worth it. It is a smooth glide eyeliner, and an extremely easy to use eyeshadow in one. I have to admit that even knowing it had eyeshadow in it, it took me a few minutes to find it. It even includes a great blending tip sponge for softening the liner. I really like this product for its compact design, and the color was so much richer in reality...I got the color called "stone", which pleasantly surprised me with its depth of color and a touch of pink/copper sparkle to it. I take this liner/shadow duo with me when I travel (less to pack).
