The pencil is a bit too hard for a smooth application and it smears when my eyes tear. I tried using a powder over the liner to "set it" but it still tends to run. I wouldn't buy it again. I purchased several, both expensive & low-end. The Sephora pencil went on really smooth & easy, the color is great. I was real happy with this one & threw out the others. the only problem seems to be it flakes off a bit during the day, which can feel annoying & require re-applying. All in all, though, I'm pleased!
