Customer Rating: Summary: If angels baked muffins, they would smell like Rush Comment: I am hearing rumors that this perfume is being discontinued and it breaks my heart. Yes this is only a fragrance, and I haven't worn it lately but it's wonderful; strong, different and delicious - such a shame that in the world of many, many stinky perfumes this is one that will bite the dust. This was my favorite perfume when I was in college and it always stirs my brain when I get a whiff of it on someone. My favorite way to wear it was by spraying it on freshly washed hair; the scent lingered all day and gave of an aura of lusciousness while I got on with my day.
Rush is rich, buttery but with a heavy dose of musk and florals, creating balance between the sugary world of sweets and feminine freshness of the freesia, bergamot and jasmine. The woods in Rush are soft with a hidden spice, the Orris Sandalwood is Earthy and combines with musk and violet it makes for a warm base that smells like deliciously scented skin. Sometimes this scent simply reminded made me of vanilla cake and other yummy things - perfect for a gloomy, cold day.
If I had to describe the scent, the visual that comes to my mind is a bake sale at an art museum. It's quirky and sweet but with skillfully blended eccentric notes that somehow work and lure in the wearer to come back for more.

Whatever discount stores or places online once sold will not have their supplies restored. It is such a great smelling perfume. The red box was ugly but what was inside was brilliant. Customer Rating: Summary: My absolute favorite perfume! Comment: I've been a Rush addict for six years. Being someone with a very keen sense of smell, I'm picky about my frangrances. Rush is a heady, floral perfume, but it has unique spicy/musky undertones that make it more interesting than most flowery frangrances. Rush is simply screaming "I'm powerful, confident and sexy!" I find it works very well with my personal chemistry and a little goes a long way. The wierd, opaque plastic packaging is both creative (people have commented on it) and functional, as it helpes to perserve the frangrance. Perfumes can break down and the fragrances can change when they are exposed to light. Anyway, if you're looking for a passionate, energetic fragrance, this one's for you.
