Customer Rating: Summary: Only mascara I use. Comment: I've used this mascara for at least 3 years now, and that's as long as I've known it.
I LOVE this stuff. The mascara accentuates my eyelashes and makes them appear even longer than they are. I haven't tried any other mascara since. Customer Rating: Summary: nothing special Comment: I bought this mascara on recommendation. I think if you go to any Walgreens you will find same mascara or better. It clumps lashes and leaves a lot of pigment. It is really only for stage where nobody sees you up close. This is maybe for somebody with thin eyelashes, but if your eyelashes are normal, or long, don't buy it. Overpriced mascara with no benefits. Customer Rating: Summary: Very Good but not Oustanding Comment: Overall, I do think this is a nice, high-end mascara. I have decent-length lashes to start with, and this mascara emphasized them dramatically as anticipated. It is much better than anything you could get at a drug store. It's a nice product but I wouldn't quite say it's unprecedented. It has beeswax in it, which fights clumps and drying. But I didn't get quite the "fake-lashes" result I was promised. People who are shocked and awed by the performance of this product were probably used to mediocre drug-store mascaras. The price is a bit high - $20. I would personally price it at $12 to $15. It has it's pros and cons, and I will outline them here:
Pros:
- Dramatic, lush results
- Contains beeswax - no crunchy, tarantula lashes
- Backed by the quality Benefit name
- Performs better and lengthens much more than drug-store brands
Cons
- Comes off *extremely* easily with water. Maybe too easily.
- It's a bit expensive
- Product ends up on upper lids almost every time
Business-wise, Sephora shipped my order promptly and accurately as promised. Product-wise, it's a quality product, but it might be worth it to try a few other high-end brands as well. I might try M.A.C. next. Customer Rating: Summary: Best mascara ever! Comment: I wear mascara everday. Had tried too many different ones and I still like Badgal the best! It's clumps-free, and its lifting power is better than most mascaras that claims to lift or 'open' your eyes. Some people complain that the applicator is too big and so unnecessary, well it is big, but I got the hang of it after using it twice or so, and I think that's the reason why this mascara 'lift' your lashes so well. It gives you a subtle, natural amount of volume when you put on more than 1 coat, won't give you that 'spider-leggs' effect. I will definately repurchase this mascara.
Customer Rating: Summary: I can't use any other mascara Comment: I usually try to get most of my make up on the cheap, but this mascara is totally worth the $19. It's the only mascara where I've used the entire tube and it stayed perfect until the very last bit.
I don't have a lot of eyelashes and this stuff actually makes them look full and long without any clumping or having to apply 20 coats.
If you've been looking for the perfect mascara, this is as good as it gets.
