Comment: The description is not precisely accurate-- the magazine, usually pretty substantial in volume and not cheap at a cover price of $20-25, is a showcase portfolio for high end creative and commercial photographers.
Each issue -does- have a city as a theme, but the city is not 'profiled through photography', but rather has a special section in the middle profiling all of the services and amenities that would be of interest to a professional photographer or producer if they were shooting in that locale.
The photography is highly varied and exemplary in quality. I buy the book to use as a source of inspiration and emulation for my own photography.
