Summary: Here's a trick ;)
Comment: Put the tip of your tongue to the bottom half tip of the whistle and blow. Of course, don't cover the entire hole or no air will pass through therefore no sound will come out! When blowing into the whistle, you are almost saying "toot" when you put the tip of your tongue to the bottom half tip. Takes a few tries but I promise it's not rocket science. These whistles work great! :)

Comment: This whistle is very loud , every hiker and kayaker should have one for safety reasons.If lost or in trouble a good whistle is worth it's weight in gold!

Summary: It's a whistle - what could they do wrong
Comment: This is a higher pitched whistle than the Fox 40 coaching whistle. It also requires you to blow a little harder to get any sound out of it. But the label says it can be heard from farther away than the coaching whistle. The card it came on lists a number of armies that depend on this whistle. The sound and function is similar to the Micro safety whistle.
