Customer Rating: Summary: Quality tambourines Comment: I purchased enough tambourines for my 2-year class in the Children Center were I work. They are the judges for this item. The plastic began to rip/tear the first week; however, I am removing the plastic as they rip. The tambourines are still a nice addition to our music section without the plastic. The children simply love to play them, and they are used all day long every day. The plastic is not necessary. I was pleased by the overall sturdiness of these tambourines, and they have a decent sound (not great.) My son enjoys banging them.
An added bonus -- they are relatively small and light, so my son does less damage than he might with a real, wooden tambourine, when he bangs something other than his hand.
If you want to put together a toddler band, a couple of cheap kazoos and some "egg" shaped shakers are also good additions. Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent quality tambourines!
