Comment: Great system, secures rack and bikes. Cable hooks around the outermost bike holding it and any other inboard bikes on the rack. Simple and secure.

Comment: Finally, we can stop and eat at a restaurant after a bike ride or run in to get supplies on the way to our ride. It does it's job and it isn't a big, ugly chain.

Summary: good product, but a little bit too short
Comment: I purchased this in Amazon marketplace. We used it for our recent camping on Jun/22/2008 from LosAngeles to BigSur (7-hour driving.) The quality is good, and robust. However, with three bikes loaded (I use Yakima KingPin 4,) the cable is too short to connect to the lock. I only cross the cable to the last bike (outmost one,) and need to pull the cable quite hard to connect it to the lock. It is better to add about 3 more inches.

Comment: I really like the lock. However I wish the cable were longer. Also, the yakima bike rack I purchased did not have the hole to mount the lock as it should have so i had to drill the hole myself. Not a big deal, but for as much as it cost it should have worked and fit as it was described.
Having said all that, I like the lock and I no longer worry about leaving the bikes whenever I go into a store.
