Summary: Extremely Cool
Comment: Takes some getting used to, but once you do, this thing is really a neat tool to have. Very packable and portable.
The only issue is that the silicone is very susceptible to cuts and abrasions. Do not use knives or rough objects around the keyboard; I cut the membrane of one of the keys with a small pocketknife accidentally while opening letters.

Summary: Had promise, but failed to deliver
Comment: I brooded on buying the Virtually Indestructible Keyboard for several months. All the reviews I read told me not to do it, but I did anyway.
So why shouldn't you buy this keyboard? Simply put, the key touch response is horrible. You can't fly over the keys like you do with a normal keyboard, because they require a lot of pressure to input the letter you are typing. Second, the keys are laid out strangely. For instance, the spacebar is actually two keys instead of one long, thin bar. So if you hit the middle of your spacebar by habit, your thumb will land in-between the two. Also, the backspace button is the size of a normal letter key, which makes it difficult to reach when touch typing. It's just very poorly designed and not useful to anyone who types by touch.
However, the illumination is pretty neat, and it does roll up as described. I was hoping it would work out for me so I could wipe it off when I spill a soda or drop a crumb in-between the keys... But this was not my solution, unfortunately. I can only recommend this keyboard to someone who is a "hunt and peck" kind of user, since they will probably be able to focus enough pressure on the keys that the stiff input won't affect their typing style.
For the speed typer, someone who uses their computer nearly all day every day, stay far away.

Summary: Good idea- bad Execution
Comment: I was looking for a silent keyboard that would glow- this sounded like a great buy from the description. I tend to be at the computer a lot so seeing that i eat there a lot, a food/liquid proof keyboard that's washable sounded great! And it is, if you look past the fact that you can barely type a sentences correctly without going back and having to add spaces and fix typos.
I write, email, chat, and play video games on the pc, so this is a major problem. You have to very deliberately push down on the keys, rather hard (sore fingers aren't rare), and yet if you push them too hard it'll give you a double key-stroke. It's pretty much impossible to type quickly.
If you are a 2-finger typer, the type that are very slow and dont type a whole lot, this can work. Otherwise, don't bother. Buy something better, please.

Comment: This is a good keyboard and I love the glow, but I would not recommend it for fast typers. The keys have to be pressed rather hard for it the register so if you type rather fast sometimes it is not the best keyboard to type with.

Summary: GREAT for Night-Time Computing!
Comment: I was amazed at how awesome this was! The whole flexibility and water-resistance of the item was great. I can pack it up in a backpack, or elsewhere without having to worry that it could be damaged if bent. Although you can not roll it up tightly, which was one thing I immediately wanted to try, it really shines when you are working at night! This has got to be the best price for an illuminated keyboard out there! It glows evenly, and nice and brightly! It does not have lighted bars, or LED's at one end, it literally glows evenly along the whole keyboard!
Typing on this keyboard is not too bad. It takes a bit of getting used to, and does indeed cause some spelling errors at first. Once used to it, it types pretty nice!
The electrical layer is like that lightstrip tape for computer modding lights. It works great! I would definitely recommend this item for anyone who types at night, and likes to see what they are typing on!
