Summary: They Sold out to China
Comment: This is what is happening to all the once great boot companies. Like Vasque, Raichle, Lowa, La Sportiva, ect.,,,,,
They are all selling out to China or former soviet block countries and the quality has gone down hill. I would rather pay more and keep the quality. If I want a cheap boot, I will go to big 5 or walmart.
It seems only Scarpa still makes a good boot in Italy, like the SL M3. Some of the really big Mountaineering boots made by La Sportiva are still make in Italy , but that is about it folks.

Summary: CHINA VS ITALIAN QUALITY
Comment: as the first reviewer stated, China quality in this boot is horrible. this is the 3rd pair i have owned, the 1st pair from china. the 1st 2 pair were italian made and amazing, i swore by those boots, and would have rather worn the italian made sundowners over tennis shoes. please, dont think that the Chinese models are even close to the quality Vasque is capable of, they are just trying to cut costs, and have ruined my Vasque experience for life. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.

Summary: Classsic Boots Never Fail
Comment: This is a replacement pair for boots I wore out. To Vasque's credit they have not messed with a good thing. This style of boot has remained unchanged and reliable for at least 10 years.

Summary: Great boots
Comment: These are probably the best pair of boots I've ever had. They are very comfortable (especially when a pair of Superfeet insoles are added), very durable, and great looking in a retro way. When/if this pair wears out, I am going to buy another pair. Others have complained about these being made in China, but mine are good to go.
Buy yourself a pair and see.

Comment: Very disappointed to discover the boots are now made in China, his last pair were made in Italy. Still thinking about returning them, worried about the quality.
