Summary: super little mouse
Comment: I ordered this about a week ago for my laptop after my wired mini mouse died. The wire had been making me crazy so I figured I'd try wireless. When I did receive it, it was much larger then I expected. My other mouse was really small and people often pointed at it and laughed....this one is in my opinion about 25-35% smaller then a regular mouse, my other one was probably 50-60% smaller then a regular mouse. So that kinda bummed me out(for some reason I just really loved the small size, it worked nicely for my hands). So far it works great, a little stick plugs into the USB, no other wires or accessories with it. I've been using it on my couch and coffee table, so it works great on a variety of surfaces.
It took me an hour or two to download the correct software off the logitech website, it wasn't very helpful in telling me which version I needed(there were 2-4 choices in each category, it was confusing for me), all I knew was I needed windows vista, but didnt know if I needed 32 or 64 bit, etc. After I figured that out, it has worked great since. Only other annoying thing, it seemed to put unnecessary programs on my laptop that I have to shut down every time I start up(until I get the time/inclination to get them off the computer). So that was also aggravating. So, all in all, actual product is super, some of the other stuff is annoying.
UPDATE: after having this mouse for another week or two, I've found one SUPER aggravating feature. All of a sudden, it will stop working. The computer will say 'usb not recognized' and I have to unplug, plug in, unplug, plug in. Until it decides it recognizes it. It actually just said "installing device software" which was done when I bought it, so who knows why it did it again. I don't know if this is my laptop being a jerk or the mouse. Just wanted to toss it in my review just in case.

Summary: wonderful wireless mouse
Comment: this is one great mouse!..Logitech has always produced quality products,and this mouse is no exception. Firstly,its really affordable,secondly,it is powered by one AA battery..rather than lithium ion...making it really affordable battery operation. Use it for laptop or desktop..you will not be disappointed!

Summary: Great idea, but mine didn't work...
Comment: I loved the idea of this little mouse, unfortunately when I got mine, the left mouse button didn't work. I checked and rechecked to see if I had to program that button in the software. I tried it on multiple computers in our house, and that left button still did not work. Had to return it... Don't know if I just got a lemon or what.

Summary: Mighty Mouse!
Comment: In a word this mouse is great. I use mine with a Macbook Pro and it works perfectly. Very simple to use: just plug in the USB stick and the computer instantly recognized it. It works smoothly, no jumps or jitters, and fairly long battery life (depending on what brand battery used). It also works in mid-air, held upside down! (Well at least the scroll wheel does). Plus, it's durable; I've dropped mine a couple of times (not from a great height though), and it has had no affect on the mouse. I've had this thing for almost two years and it just keeps on truckin'...what a great, little mouse!

Summary: Excellent Product, from excellent seller
Comment: I paid $15.44 for this, including shipping. It got here very quickly. It was my last Christmas purchase...days later than the others - and yet it got here quicker than most of the other orders.
I took it out of the package - plugged it in - and it didn't seem to work. So, I decided to go to the website and download the software (like the package recommended) and while I was getting set to do that, it started working. So, I didn't even download the software. I will later, if it becomes an issue. (I guess it just needed a minute to get settled in...lol.)
Note: Beware that you may have to get used to the fast tracking. I went in to my settings and tried to set it slower, but that really didn't help. But, besides that, I have no issues.
