Comment: finally a cheap knife that performs like a Expensive knife. be very very careful with these knifes i cut my self 3 times in the first week and didn't feel it. I love this knife i also have 2 paring knifes from the same company there great too..

Comment: I have always felt that you get what you pay for. When working in my kitchen owning a good, well maintained knife is extremely important. I own Schiff, Wustoff and Henkels chef knives, all are 8 inch.
Like many reviewers, I too read in Cooks Illustrated their review of the Victorinox chef knife. I bought my first one about 18 months ago and have purchased several others as gifts for family members. When priced between $18 and about $22 you cannot beat this knife. Honestly, I haven't used my other "superior" knives since buying the Victorinox.
Well balanced, responds to a steel incredibly well and the synthetic handle makes for the best chef knife available...IMHO.

Comment: This knife has become my favorite! It's super inexpensive but works just as well and sometimes better than the high dollar ones. I love the feel of it, its weight, sharpness, EVERYTHING! One of the best buys you can make for your kitchen!
