These classic favorites trace their origins to early 17th Centruy Europe, where sword play with the rapier was considered an essential part of a gentleman's education as well as resolving gentlemanly conflicts. Each rapier is equipped with a 36 1/2" stainless steel blade with a mirror finish. The wire wrapped grips are surrounded by twisted steel creating authentic appeal to each collectible. Includes leather blade sheath. 44" overall. Also available in Black and ornate European versions.

Customer Rating: Summary: wall hanging Comment: this sword-like object is actually quite nice looking. I have it hanging on my wall. it looks nice and has a good weight to it.
Customer Rating: Summary: It's Ok. Comment: This sword looks AWESOME, so I bought it for my husband who loves swords! He was very happy with the look, but the feel of the sword has a lot to be desired. The sword is not sturdy, and it shakes alot. If this sword was to be played with, I have no doubt that it would fall apart in my hand. If you want something pretty to look at, then this is your sword for you! Otherwise, move on to something more battle ready.
Customer Rating: Summary: Elegant Comment: This is a beautiful sword and makes an excellent costume or display piece. The mirror finish makes the blade shimmer when removed from its leather scabbard. Although not designed to take any real punishment (such as from theatric swashbuckling) it makes an elegant dress sword.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great craftsmanship! Comment: I carried this sword at the Texas Ren Fest for 5 weekends and always received compliments on it. The hilt is large and bright silver, and truely stands out in a crowd of swords.
Bare in mind that this sword is just a prop and is probably no good for sword combat. But it's a fine crafted item that is sure to look good on your hip or mounted on the wall.
Customer Rating: Summary: Ask the man who owns one! Comment: I like this sword. A LOT! It's well-constructed, it comes with a nifty leather scabbard with shiny silver trim, and it looks good. Excellent for costume, display, or reenacting, but I don't know if the blade was manufactured for "practical" use (theatrical or reeactor sword fighting). Still, it's a good prop. Did I say I like this sword?
