Summary: Good enough, but much worse than 3000
Comment: I had Microsoft 3000 Wireless Mouse before and I was very satisfied with it, til I have broken my connector :( (Nothing with construction, it was my stupid fault). Than I have decided to buy newer one. MISTAKE... I mean it's not bad mouse it's working well, but compared to 3000 it's step back. The most annoying thing is wheel, this one doesn't have "steps" like it was by 3000 and if you wanna use it for clicking f.e. for opening new tab, you'll became crazy...
so buying this mouse is not bad choice at all, depend on individual requirements
if you own 3000 and you're satisfied and now you're thinking about upgrading to 4000, DON'T DO IT... ;) you can be very dissapointed

Summary: Nice Little Mouse
Comment: I just received this mouse today. Installed the software and plugged it in. I have a Dell laptop and this is great. The best feature is the maginfy button on the left side. This is great when viewing some websites with small lettering. Oh, BTW, this also works on any program and even my desktop. The scroll wheel allows you to minimize several documents and view side-by-side. The scroll wheel just reduces the size and not really minimize on the system tray.
I will be using this little guy for many applications I use. I guess the one thing I will be watching is the battery life. I have read many of the postings and everyone feels that the battery lasts for up to six months. I am using a rechargeable AA battery rated and 1600 mAh. Again, will see how the battery will maintain a charge.

Comment: This mouse with its built in USB plug is so handy for my laptop. Works great, self-contained and doesn't squeak (protest) to being used on any computer in sight.

Comment: This mouse really extends the usefullnes of my laptop. It has the resolution that I can move the curser over the full screen by moving the mouse about 2 inches. It also has the radio range of about 5 feet. Nice product

Summary: Be ready to have this for a short time
Comment: I purchased this mouse in early April 2008 and I used it all the time. On average I spend five hours a day on my laptop and have used this mouse each time. While I expected that the battery life would be long, I have to recharge the battery every two weeks. It really likes to give a low-battery warning by interrupting whatever program you're using to say "Hey, it's time to recharge!" Now in month #3, after several recharging and only taking this mouse to the outside world once, the strolling stopped working. No warning. I've plugged it in and out and it is still unresponsive. Only buy this if you can find a cheap deal on it. I was lucky to get this at $20, but even that is too much. I gave it two stars because when it worked, it worked fine.
