Customer Rating: Summary: Bicycle Computer Comment: My wife got one of these for her bike and I couldn't stand not having one on mine so I got one too. We both refer to them a lot. Instructions on how to use them weren't the greatest but managed to figure it out.
Customer Rating: Summary: Planet Bike Protege' 8.0 Comment: This computer did not work from the start and I had to return it. I decided to buy a Sigma instead. The sigma was much easier to install. And I was up and running in 30 minutes.
Customer Rating: Summary: I'm buying a different computer Comment: This computer is really cool in that the display is good and it tells you all kinds of data. However, if you hit a solid bump in the road it falls off! Mine fell off going down a hill at 25mph and it took me 15 minutes to find it. To my surprise it still worked. A couple days later I hit another bump going 30mph and it fell off in such a dangerous traffic situation I just kept going. I'm done with this computer.
Customer Rating: Summary: It Came Off My Bike! Comment: It worked great, until I was in the Danskin's Women's Triathlon and hit a grate in the road and it flew off! As I was in the middle of the race with women all around me I was not about to stop for it. So if you plan on never hitting a bump, it works ok.
Customer Rating: Summary: Easy to read, simple to use Comment: I just installed it on my commuter bike and it seems to work real well. I like the push forward (tap) method of changing modes and resetting. I would of given it 5 stars except for the above article about it quitting after two years. It looks a lot nicer than my Cateye, which is on my mountain bike, but then again the Cateye is about 10 years old and is still ticking. But hey, if I get 2 years out of it I will be happy, 10 years and I will be ecstatic.
