Customer Rating: Summary: Two thumbs up! Comment: For the money this Philips system cannot be beaten! The first song I played was Heart's "What About Love" and this system filled my small home-office with beautiful music! Next I watched "The Matrix";WOW! The speakers are separated nearly 10' apart & are on bookshelves nearly 8' high; who needs 5.1 with a powerful sound-stage like this! The bass is moderate compared to more powerful systems but its there when you need it and the satellites sound clean & crisp at high volumes! Two thumbs up. Customer Rating: Summary: Its nice for the price, but not really loud Comment: Its a great steal for the price, and the sub is really strong and can shake your walls, but sadly the speakers them selves are very bad. You cant really listen to anything in a low volume, and the music herd all the way high, is really not that loud. The sub overpowers the speakers. This is a good setup if you don't want amazing volume and sound quality.
