The Rapid Reel 150-foot parallel wall reel features rustproof die-cast aluminum construction for added longevity and durability against the elements. Ideal for neatly storing hoses up to 150 feet long, the reel mounts to the sides of houses or shops, and mounts easily to both masonry and wood surfaces. Four mounting holes are pre-drilled for 16-inch stud walls, and the bronze powder coating blends with almost any color of siding or brick. The included bass swivel comes backed with a 10-year limited warranty. No hose is included.

Summary: Basic and Bulletproof
Comment: I was tired of replacing my hose reels every year, so I finally bought a high quality reel. I am confident this hose reel will last for well over 10 years (the length of its guarantee). On the downside, the reel is very basic in design. It does not have a guide to keep the hose neatly spooled as you wind it in. Nor does it have a fancy housing to disguise the hose or blend into the environment. However, its basic design makes it bulletproof.

Summary: Rapid Reel Rocks!
Comment: Why would anyone have one of those cheap plastic hose reels when they could have this? I put it together myself, in about 15 minutes, with no difficulty. This is quite sturdy, holds the hose neatly and since it is mounted to the wall - no tipping over when I pull some hose off of it! Our small yard looks so tidy now that the hose isn't lying in a jumble on the ground. I definitely recommend this!

Summary: The best hose reel you will ever own.
Comment: Forget all of the other reels. This is by far the best hose reel you will ever own. Everything else is just crap!! It has excellent construction. Most of the construction is all metal or some derivative of metal. Most importantly, the fittings are not plastic (which eventually leak). Splurge the few extra bucks and get the best.
