Customer Rating: Summary: Decent left-handed scissors; color was wrong Comment: Many scissors that claim that they can be used by left-handed people don't actually reverse the blades so that you can see what you're cutting when you hold the scissors in your left hand. This pair of scissors did have the correct blade configuration. The scissors themselves were a little tight, but we were able to loosen the screw to fix the problem.
The only reason I didn't give this product five stars is that the scissors I received had a blue and red flame pattern rather than the solid color shown. My three year old daughter didn't initially like them because of the strange color pattern.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great scissors for my 1st grader! Comment: My son uses his left hand to cut and we couldn't find left handed scissors locally for him to take to school. These are perfect for smaller hands and are true left-handed scissors (the blades are reversed from right-handed scissors). We bought two pairs - one for school and one for at home. I only wish I had bought more because I'm sure they will get misplaced at some point and then I will have to buy more. At least I will know where to get some good ones!
Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect for my little left handed boy Comment: These really helped my little left handed guy lern to cut. a wonderful purchase for our family.
Customer Rating: Summary: Smooth cutting Comment: My son is left handed and as I watched him struggle to cut out his homework neatly, I realized it was much harder for him than it had to be. We ordered these scissors, much to his excitement, and now he cuts far more smoothly and feels better about his homework. Simple things can make all the difference!
