HOW DO TAKARA DETOX FOOT PATCHES DRAW TOXINS FROM THE BODY? After many years of research and development it was discovered by some Asian researchers that wood vinegar essence found in certain trees has the ability to absorb toxins through the acupuncture points of the feet. The Takara Detox Foot Patch is made from a unique concoction of wood vinegar essence, and several other ingredients. This original Asian study of the health, longevity and natural disease resistance of mature trees deep in forests with no human assistance led to the formulation of the ingredients for the detox foot patches. The trees ability to purify large amounts of ground water through the roots into high quality water transported into the trunk and leaves, as well as the absorbing and detoxifying power of the wood sap, made it a natural ingredient for human use. Tree and bamboo ingredients are processed with heat and then powdered, adding in other beneficial natural ingredients to make convenient Takara Foot Patches. RESULTS OF USING TAKARA FOOT PATCHES? The invention of the Takara Foot Patch has created much excitement in Japan, receiving high recommendations from many people. Japans leading health magazine, An Xin, has also featured articles based on its usage by the Japanese. One article featured the cleansing processes in red blood cells. After one week of usage, the subject showed significant signs of toxins absorbed into the Takara Foot Patch and eliminated from the body.

Customer Rating: Summary: Lied! No FDA Comment: Checked with FDA, not true! Product is not registered. I wonder what other thigs aren't true.
Customer Rating: Summary: Interesting findings Comment: I was skeptical about this product, so I only ordered 10 patches. Takara representative told me that the product would only pull out the toxins from your lymphatic system. In other words, toxins in your blood stream, tissues, and brains will not be pulled out. She also told me that if I wanted a lab test done on my used patches, she could send me a lab form.
So I sent in the used patches from the first night to the naturopath Dr.'s address that was on the form. The colors weren't dark at all. Both patches were very light colors, like barely visible colors. But the results came out: alminum, tin, copper, titanium, mercury, asbestos, and what freaked me out the most was RADIOACTIVE FALLOUT and URANIUM!!!
But it is entirely possible that this report is correct, because I lived in Hiroshima, where the A-bomb was dropped during the WWII, for one year. I must have picked it up during that year.
I spoke with the doctor about the results. This is what he told me: The greater the numbers, the larger the amount that was found in the patches. However, the numbers are not so significant, because they can change day to day, depending on what you did, where you have been, what you ate, etc. on that day/week. Also, the effectiveness of the patches changes the results, and which part of your feet you put them on can give different numbers and results. The numbers only indicate how much toxins were found in that particular patches I had sent. In addition, the toxins are only drawn out from the lymphatic system. In other words, just because I got 0 doesn't mean I don't have that particular toxin in my system. Who knows what toxins are in my brains!
The doctor advised me to go to my medical doctors to run some blood/urine work for more thorough findings.
As for "feeling great afterwards", I only tried 4 days (I gave a pair to my mom), so I really can't tell if there is any improvement in my sickly condition. But at least now I know I do have these toxins in my system. I think I'm going to call an environmental medicine doctor this week.
Customer Rating: Summary: WHAT A SCAM!!! Comment: Check out the Takara Detox Foot Patch website. They have a BBB logo, but check with BBB... not a member!
They reference a Consumer Watch Review here.

They're the top rated foot patch!!! My-oh-my, how wonderful! It's a bogus review site. Check out the root...
http://www.consumerwatchreview.com
Foot patches are the only thing they have ever reviewed.
Not only that, check out some of thermographs & other photos from the 5 "contenders". You'll find some of the exact same pictures on the "competing companies" websites. It's the same people selling the same product on different websites from different "companies" from different addresses (I assume). Look for the foot & hand thermographs in the Takara, Detoxion, and Dtoxpatch websites -- exactly the same! Detoxion and Dtoxpatch have the same photos of someones foot (look under medical lab photos for the Dtoxpatch).
I've also noticed all foot patch companies products (including Kinoki that's not in the "review") seem to look exactly the same. The little packets and the sticky bandage look like they all came from the same place. Could be a coincidence? Could be they all bought the bandages and empty packets and stuffed it with their own ingredients?.... I think they're ALL bogus!
And yes, I did try the Takara packets. The patches did not lighten. Looked exactly the same from the 1st used patch to the last after 2 weeks. Hmm... maybe I'm just overloaded with toxins and need to fork out more money to buy a YEAR supply before I notice the patches starting to get lighter.
Trying to get a refund now.
Will post again if I have the time and energy to find more "crap" from the websites. Check the websites (including the BBB) yourself and post anything you might find, as I know many people don't have the time and energy looking into these things on their own. I know I should have posted more website references to make it easier....
Don't take my word for it... check it out for yourself... PLEASE!!!
Customer Rating: Summary: Don't waste your time Comment: Don't waste your time or money. Totally ineffective - did nothing but make me feel foolish for putting them on my feet every night and giving my feet a funny smell everyday.
Customer Rating: Summary: User Friendly Comment: I bought a ten pack. I am not too sensitive to smells, so the smell didn't bother me too much. What I had a problem with is following directions late at night to try and figure out how to put these on correctly.
I did it wrong at least twice. I felt like I wasted my money.
I didn't notice any results the times that I got it right, (and the adhesive still came off in the night).
