Comes with a 15in. braided stainless steel spark plug hose assembly. Helps detect worn rings, burnt or sticking valves, carbon buildup and more. Designed to work on conventional, electronic and computerized systems on both foreign and domestic vehicles. Large, easy-to-read 2 1/2in. dial face with accurate Bourdon tube meter movement. Dual-calibrated scales read 0-300 PSI. Side-pressure relief valve and quick-connect/disconnect coupler attached. Oil-resistant 15in. flexible rubber hose with 14 and 18mm adapters. Not designed to work in diesel engines, only on spark-ignited gasoline engines where cylinder pressure does not exceed 300 PSI. Also includes 14mm long-reach adapter and 12mm adapter for most snowmobiles, motorcycles, ATVs and marine applications.

Comment: this tool was easy to use and provided accurate results. for the price it is a perfect tool for the DIY mechanic who doesn't want to empty his or her pockets for a snap-on tool when it won't get used that often.

Comment: This product does exactly what it should. It measures the amount of compression that your cylinder can sustain, and it does it with enough accuracy and repeatability that you can trust it.
It is only missing a handy carry case, but if you approach the packaging in the right manner, you can use that to store your tester, and keep it in reasonably good shape. Of course, I realized this after I tore into the packaging with all of the skill and dexterity of a six year old boy with 4 cups of hot chocolate in him on Christmas morning.
I purchased this unit because it has the adapter for small engines, those with a 10mm sparkplug hole. It has it, and it works. What more could you ask for?

Comment: Does what it is supposed to do. Face of gauge scratched from packaging, but not to the point it needed to be returned. For the money it does the job for the occasional test. Nice having the adapters for the various sized plugs
