Hiro 3-In-1 Slim PCMCIA PC Card Type 2.4GHz WIFI USB Presenter With Laser Pointer & Multimedia Control The Hiro 3-in-1 2.4 GHz Slim Presenter helps helps you focus on connecting with your audience, not your computer. With the maximum range of 100 feet, you can move around the audience with certainty, confidence, and utmost freedom. The integrated laser pointer also helps you emphasize your essential messages. No software is required; just plug it in your computer, and start communicating with your audience. The built-in controls for Start Presentation, Next Slide, Previous Slide, and Black Screen enclose the mandatory presentation tools in the palm of your hand. The additional control functions for various multimedia applications, such as WinDVD, PowerDVD, and Window Media Player, not only break the limit of presentational slides for your listeners, but also serve as a conventional remote control for your PC and enhance your sensations. A specific-designed compartment for USB receiver & compact size ensure convenience of carry when you are on the road.

Customer Rating: Summary: Great Blend of Form and Function in One Unit! Comment: Summary: Excellent functionality especially for presenting in MS PowerPoint, with the convenience of a built-in laser pointer and clever storage design.
Pros:
- Very lightweight and unobtrusive design for presentations. While it may not be as "ergonomically stylized" as some other devices, it is not distractingly heavy or bulky, and is intuitive to use.
- Nice touch to have both white as well as black screen blanker function in presentation mode.
- Good remote for the multimedia applications with just the right controls.
- I just love the PCMCIA-type form factor; when I show folks that the dongle fits inside the remote, and the remote itself slides away into the card slot of my notebook PC, that just adds to the "oooh"s and "aaah"s I get for my smooth presentations! (^_^)
Con (yes, only one):
- If there was one improvement I would make to this product, it would be to add tactile (Braille-like) "bumps" to some of the control buttons, so I don't have to actually look at the remote to know if I'm about to hit the right button. Perhaps this peeve will subside as I get more used to button placement by rote.
KUDOS to Hiro!
