Summary: Not bad, but getting hot very quick
Comment: This enclosure just arrived last night and I installed my new 500GB Maxtor SATA hard drive right away. Installation was easy, took me less than 5 minutes to install.
yes, the enclosure is very nice and portable, but it has no fan. It's getting hot very quick. If you're planning to leave it on 24/7, this might not be the right enclosure. I don't know if there is anyway I can add a fan to it to keep it cool.
