Summary: All Purpose salt free seasoning
Comment: We use Cavender's Salt Free All Purpose Greek Seasoning for almost any food - from fried green tomatoes to cantaloupe. We no longer are able to find the salt free (blue label) in the stores - only on the internet. The yellow labeled product in supermarkets contains salt and is far less tasty. I usually become very thirsty when eating food containing MSG, but this product doesn't have that effect on me.

Comment: Although the description states that the salt-free version of Cavender's contains no msg, BEWARE. I sprinkled a little of this on beef last night while cooking it, and my intestines are still talking back to me 12 hours later! 'Flavor base seasoning' and 'five other spices' are both mystery ingredients in this mixture, that probably contain msg. NOT FOR MSG SENSITIVE PEOPLE!

Comment: I discovered the use of this on Fried Zuccini at the Orange County California Swap meet. Lately I have used only this on Eggs, but I was suprised what it did for Sea Scalops. Experiment on the amount as you can put too much on. You can also use the same product, But it has MSG in it.

Summary: misleading, still contains MSG, but great stuff nonetheless
Comment: They replace the sodium chloride with potassium chloride, with is arguably healthier while still being salty tasting, however they replace the free form MSG with hydrolyzed soy and corn protein, which is arguably worse then MSG and certainly contains MSG. It's against government regulations to say something has NO MSG then have hydrolyzed proteins as ingredients, but if you can get by that, the stuff tastes great!
