Summary: Effective at silencing your squeaky floors
Comment: These screws work reasonably well for silencing squeaky floors. I used them specifically through carpet to repair plywood flooring over joists on a second floor. While this method definitely has its drawbacks, I believe that it's the best option available aside from rolling back carpet.
Some important facts to be aware of:
- For light-colored carpet, the joist finder (long screw that you attach to your drill) may leave dark marks on the carpet. These were easily cleaned with carpet cleaner but were nevertheless unexpected.
- The joist finder lasts for only 100-150 tests. The kit includes two joist finders so if you're working with a large area, purchase two kits.
- The joist finder gets extremely hot and will cause burns if not handled properly.
- If possible, use an electronic Deep Scan stud finder rather than the joist finder. It'll save you lots of extra work.
- 100 screws will fix 4-5 squeak spots on your floor. Purchase more screws than you think you'll need.
- Plan on spending 30-45 minutes per squeak. Most of your time will be spent on searching for joints and figuring out how to patter the screws. Some carpet cleaning may be required for lighter-colored carpet.
- Some of the screws may not sink deep enough and will stick up through the carpet. Make sure to sink the screws heads to the maximum allowable by the tool/template.
- If you have berber carpet, be prepared for some damage.
Overall, this is a solid product that does what's expected.

Summary: Awesome home improvement product for older homes
Comment: The Squeeek No More screws do exactly what they promise to do. This product would be incredibly helpful for many older homes with squeaky floors. Due to "settling" over time, the nails used in the construction of the subfloors of older homes work loose and actually move when they are walked on or near. In my house, the floors in all the bedrooms, the upstairs hallway, the family room, and the dining room all had squeaks. The squeaking in the bedrooms was particularly annoying, because the members of my family all have different schedules, and the squeaking was loud enough to wake people in other rooms.
The product is easy to use for anyone with even modest home repair skills and a power drill. The kit comes with everything needed to successfully eliminate squeaky floors: the screw-driver drill attachment, depth-setter/wrench, and a generous quantity of the special screws. I eliminated squeaks in all of the rooms mentioned above, and only used about half the screws. The difference being able to walk around my own bedroom without waking up the whole house is incredibly satisfying. Thanks Squeeeek No More!

Comment: These worked as promised. I had an annoying squeak that would often startle my toddler and it is now gone. Huge savings instead of having to pull up carpet to get to subflooring.
