Tired of riding your bicycle on a uncomfortable hard skinny seat? You're problems are over. This seat is 10.5" long by 10.5" wide!. You won't find a more comfortable seat for under $50. Its like riding on a cloud. This seat has an easy universal installation with any standard seat post. This saddle is built by Cloud 9, so you know you are getting an incredibly designed comfort seat.

Comment: This seat is wide and soft for an ex-athele that is reduced to bicycle riding for execise. I painted the chrome springs black as they were a bit too obvious for me. I like this one better tham the earlier type Cloud 9 on my bicycle that was recently stolen from the top of my SAAB.

Comment: I just received my new seat and brought it to the neighborhood bicycle shop to be mounted. (I was a little worried after reading the review of the guy who said he felt like he was riding a tricycle like a clown...) Let me tell you, it was the best investment! It is comfortable, and very easy to ride on! I used my old seat, and my butt was killing me...this one was great. Comfortable, yet sturdy! I hope all of you reading invest in it...it is definitely worth it. Just a note of advice, it comes with a c clamp, but the bicycle shop was able to change the seats for me and we never had to use the clamp. ENJOY IT!!

Comment: I went to my local bike store to buy a Electra Townie. This is a bike that has you putting all your weight on the seat so it better be comfy. The original seat that comes with Townies are not of the best quality, so I had the bike shop swap it immediately for This C9. Made all the difference in the world. Good spring action and thick gel padding. Amazon price is almost half of what the bike store had it priced for.

Comment: I just got a new (used) bike and after riding it a few times, I had to give my "body" a break. I could hardly handle the pain of sitting on that seat again. I bought this seat hoping for some relief.
1. The seat does not feel like a soft pillow or cushion. It's a bike seat, it is not supposed to. It does however give a great deal more cushion that my original gel seat topped with additional gel seat cover. (how two gel seats end up feeling like a sharp rock, I don't know)It is softer, yes, but the greater impact is from having my weight more evenly distributed.
2. It is wide, but not ridiculously so. It did not impair the way I ride in any way.
3. It does cause you to sit higher up, make sure you have the room. I'm 5'2", so I was concerned, but it worked out.
4. The seat arrived in only a few days. I'm very happy with the new seat and I recommend it.
