Customer Rating: Summary: Great Yoga Prop Comment: I really didn't see the sense in yoga props when I started yoga. I mean, cowboy up and do the pose, right? HA! Shows what a Type-A, Western gal I am. But, I have since learned using props is not a weakness at all. Just like you wear the proper shoes when walking or running, you use props when doing yoga.
And, as a beginner at the stiff old age of forty-ahem-something, I need all the props I can get.
I actually started using the strap when stretching my hamstrings after walking. It feels really good to get that extra stretch. And, when doing other poses, like ones to loosen up my hips and shoulders, the strap helps me get to the correct pose and then to get the full benefit of the pose. That's what it's about. That's why it works.
Customer Rating: Summary: It's a strap, ma. Comment: Is what it says and does what it's supposed to. These are a must for any yoga student. They are a valuable assist to maintain form, breath, without losing integrity, yet still reaching for that edge, if ya know what I mean.
Customer Rating: Summary: Good to have if you do yoga Comment: Using a strap can help you learn new poses and do old ones correctly. A valuble tool. Get at least one if you are serious about yoga.
