Summary: A Heavy, Durable Mount
Comment: These Panavise Mounts are a serious piece of hardware. they are very heavy for their size which is not a bad thing. I used a set of four of them to create laptop gaming rig. I attached them to three thick pieces of acrylic so they would be articluated. I imagine most people by them for speaker mounts. I'm sure they would serve this role well but the added weight may be a problem in some setups. The only real problem I had with them was the screws are a little tough to put any torque on with your hands once you have them mounted. I would recommend getting the mounts in the position you want before you screw them to your setup. That way you can really tighten them. I your application requires frequent adjustment like mine does you may want to buy something or rig something that will allow you to effectively tight the turn knobs. Other notes...they come with everything you need to mount them to a wall...but if your mounting something heavy I would use toggle bolts or some other sturdy anchor...I never trusted plastic anchors for anything other than hanging pictures.
