Summary: Peace of Mind
Comment: We bought the Crib Tent II at our local Babies R Us about 2 years ago. Our 12 month old daughter was quickly becoming the escape artist from her crib. We were of course afraid of her falling out and getting hurt, but more afraid she'd unlock our door and walk out of the house. When searching for this my first intial fear was that if a fire had started in the house, would we be able to get her out of the net quickly and safely. The answer is yes. The opening unzips easily and is large enough to remove her fast. This installed easily on her crib which is approximately 45 years old. She was VERY angry and threw a huge fit ... okay tantrum when she figured out she couldn't get out. We had a video camera on her and would watch her try with all her might to get out and no matter how hard she kicked or pushed, she couldn't get out.

Summary: You Can't Put A Price Tag On Peace of Mind!
Comment: I bought this in 1999 for my first-born. He was tall, and the minute he started pulling up on the crib, I kept imagining him flipping over the top rail and cracking his head on the floor or breaking a limb.
This contraption ended my worries. And once he was at the age when other kids were climbing out of the crib, this tent was keeping him in. We didn't have cats, so that wasn't a concern, but if we did this tent would have kept them out also.
I remember that yes, it was a big pain to change the sheets, and you did have to finagle the bumper somewhat....but it lasted for the full 3 years it was supposed to without issue. Well worth the small hassle!
I have no idea what the difference is between this one and the Cozy Crib Tent II.

Summary: I love the crib tent!!!
Comment: I love this product. I wish I knew about it when my older daughter was a baby. When she was 2 years old she climbed out of her crib and so i put her in a toddler bed. She went from napping 3 hrs a day, to never taking another nap. When my younger daughter was 18 months she climbed out of her crib and I got the original crib tent. She never minded it. I think she felt safe inside and thought it was fun to be zipped up. Now she is 26 months old and still napping. If she wakes up during the night, I can have peace of mind knowing that she cannot get out of the crib. I went on vacation without the crib tent and could not get her to sleep in a crib without a tent. She kept climbing out and screaming all night. The next day I bought the crib tent 2 while on vacation. She took naps and slept great the rest of the week. We are going to Disney next week, so I just ordered the pack and play tent. I hope this works as well. If you are thinking about ordering this product, then get it! I am so happy with it. I do prefer the Original Cozy crib tent b/c it is open on 2 sides and I can reach in to pat her back or give her a book. She likes to be able to throw her books or dolls out thru the openings. Both tents worked well.

Comment: great idea. ties that anchor the tent to the head and foot of the bed are very cheaply connected to the material. Most have torn for me with little effort, making them useless, but hopefully not dangerous. Could easily be better reinforced, similar to the way they are connected to the side rails.

Comment: I bought this tent when my daughter started climbing out of her crib at 18 months - which created a safety hazard AND sleep issues. Installing this tent was a lifesaver! Not only did it prevent baby from getting hurt - but it stopped the sleep issues cold turkey. She's just turned 2 and we will continue to use it until she's ready for a big girl bed - which will hopefully be a while!
This tent is easy to take down and travel w/ - but after a handful of times, I bought additional ones for grandma's house. It's a must have!
