Summary: Excellent teaching tool
Comment: My son has spent hours of time going through the laps and putting together circuits following the easy to read manual. Only complaint would be that he spent more time reading the notes that teach about the circuit he just assembled, but that will give more play/learning time for the future.

Comment: Got this for Christmas for my 10 yr. old boy. We have already done over a dozen experiments - and not only enjoyed the kit - but also the time together. I would recommend the kit for any child with an interest in taking things apart and putting them together - and those interested in experiments! Well worth the money - and Amazon had the best price by far!!

Summary: Snap Circuit Extreme from Elenco
Comment: The toy is great! However, I accidentally ordered 2 for the quantity. I found this mistake and contacted the company the very next day. They corrected it in their system before it shipped out. I received one of what I ordered. Perfect, or so I thought. My debit card was charged for two. I contacted the company and they said it would take about a week to credit my account since I went through Amazon. That was in Nov. I've contacted the company twice more with no response and I still have yet to get my credit for the second order which I never received. My son loves the product but I just wish I had my money back. Had I not contacted them immediately, at least I would have the second product to actually return! But I don't! I just paid for two, and received one. I am still waiting to receive my credit.

Comment: I bought this for my 13 year old son as a birthday gift. The projects in the book have clear instructions and are easy to follow. The components are of good quality and work as expected. The kit provides for a wide range of electronics projects from motors to logic circuits that power LED's. With some imagination, the variations are nearly endless. Now if my son could just have a chance to use it...
