It does feel a bit greasy when I first put it on, but it doesn't stay greasy. It could be because my hair is dry and quickly absorbs it. It can be used on wet or dry hair. I like to use about a dime size right after I shower, I then comb it through and let my hair dry naturally. Once my hair has dried, I place a tiny amount on one palm, rub my palms together, then slide my hands over my hair. This makes my waves look and feel soft, and also adds shine. After I blow dry or flat iron, I place a small amount on one palm, rub my hands together, then run my fingers first under my hair, then over. This helps prevent my hair from frizzing. When I curl my hair, I place a drop in one palm, rub two finger in my palm, then run them around each curl as I go along. It makes for perfectly soft curls.
