If I've had the heat very high I can't pick up and carry my Ducane Stainless Steel Vegetable Basket into the house with just these for protection. I purchased two mitts so I fold one around a handle on the basket then grab that with the mitt I'm wearing. But they are so stiff I'm afraid I will lose my grip. I need a new method. Or better insulated, more flexible mitts. Customer Rating: Summary: Good Protection, Bad Mobility Comment: Great for keeping the heat off and carrying hot stuff.
