Comment: Just what I wanted to clean my OLD vinyl records. Does a good job of cutting the hiss and pop from the needle. Fast shipping too.

Summary: D4++ Review
Comment: I'm restoring some old vinyl records, some of which took some mildew damage right through the covers to the vinyl itself. Nothing really works better than my kitchen counter, isopropyl alcohol and a high grade paper towel, but that sure is a pita. The D4++ seems to do a pretty decent job, and although I don't know if it will hold up as good as the old trusty Discwasher, I seem to get comparable results, although I suspect the felt pad is not quite as good as the old DW. One thing I miss --the old DW had a carved out hole in the wooden handle for the fluid bottle-- this product does not.

This does not have the fibers that point in one direction that actually pick up dust and dirt, like the original product. Summary: A must for playing or archiving vinyl records
Comment: Don't even think of playing your precious vinyl record collection without using this product. It removes dust, fingerprints and any other debris from your album BEFORE playing. I don't recommend using it with the album on the turntable itself as that wears heavily on the turntable motor. Put down a soft, lint-free towel and clean the record on the towel instead of on your turntable. Unless you have one of those very expensive vinyl record vacuum systems, this is the next best thing.
