Customer Rating: Summary: Great way to get them to build something Comment: Bought this for my nephew last Christmas. Not only did he build it by himself, he took it apart and then made some design tweeks.
Definitely recommend.
Customer Rating: Summary: Grandmother's Review Comment: This toy is great for a kid who is able to sit still and concentrate on directions, has a high tolerance level before becoming frustrated, and fine motor skills. The instructions are simple to follow and detailed, but the many small parts and tiny tools can be hard to manipulate. A "third hand" would be useful, or nuts that locked into fitted slots on the parts. I would stick to the recommended age group and consider your child's (or grandchild's) temperament before purchasing. It has great educational potential.
