I have taken these out on hikes, walked out into rivers with great confidence, and even spent hours standing at a concert in these (where that toe protection came in great handy with drunk people stepping on my rather large feet often). These shoes perform wonderfully wet or dry, and are delightfully comfortable. These shoes are a far cry from the simple sandal that Tevas once were! The only reason i gave a 4 star is the pricing. It could have been $20 less considering the fact that even the top of the line shoes (like Nike or New balance) cost a little less than what you pay for this sandal.
