Customer Rating: Summary: Best lip gloss! Comment: First off, I've never been into lip gloss before this! I usually just used Burt's Bees lip balm and that was it. My best friend had this in "Bambi" and I tried it one day and fell in love! It smells great, not overpoweringly sweet, just a light sweet vanilla scent and it feels really good when you put it on (kind of tingly and chilly). Definitely worth the price, I'm hooked on these now! I'm Asian and I got it in "Bambi"...it looks really natural and pretty, not super glossy or a weird off-shade color. Customer Rating: Summary: Gooey and sweet smelling Comment: The main reason I'm giving this product a two star review is because of the smell, which is like an overly sweet pastry. the culprit is Saccharine, and this stuff reeks of it. Moreover, the product doesn't really plump your lips very much, it's just that it's so gooey and sticky that it does smooth your lips out. However even if you put another lipstick over it and blot your lips, it's still really, really sticky to the point where every hair that comes in contact with it will stick to your lips. so, bottom line, is that the gloss looks great but it smells and feels awful. This is the only product I've tried from Bare Escentuals that I don't like all that much. I feel the mild burn/tingle, but no difference in my lips appearance. These glosses smell wonderful and their texture is nice too. Comment: I have used Bare Escentuals makeup for years. I love most of the line, but not this one item. First, when you apply it, it makes your lips tingle. And it has made my lips unusually sensitive once it has been removed. Then there is the stickiness. I have long hair and the the Buxom Lips lip gloss was like a magnet for my hair. I just couldn't keep it from my lips whenever my hair fell forward. Yuck! It felt goopy and sticky. I like lip glosses, but just not this one. Too sticky for me....
