Customer Rating: Summary: Wish I had bought 2 of these! Comment: 'Santa' brought this for our 5 year old last year...the only problem is - I wish we had 2 of these! Our 3 year old can now ride it easily with training wheels so they fight over it quite a bit. Over the summer our 5 year old was able to take the training wheels off and ride 2-wheeled. So this must definitely be a great training bike! We are often taking the training wheels off and then back on again between who's riding it, and it's holding up very well after a year of 2 rough boys riding on it. Highly recommend this to any little Transformer fans out there that need a training bike. Customer Rating: Summary: Nice bike Comment: My son loves Optimus Prime so was very happy to receive this bike for his 4th birthday. But he is not used to the brakes (back pedalling) on the bike so still a challenge...he's afraid of falling off so haven't been on it long enough to really rate it. As of now, he prefers his tricycle. We need to practice a little more on the bike. It is quite heavy so we have to help him off and on. Overall, the bike seems very sturdy. Customer Rating: Summary: Good bike but... Comment: After chunking some cheaper bikes I noticed one bike made by Kent lasted over three years of heat and rain. This is one sweet looking bike and under all the frills is one tough looking bike. One thing is it is heavy and so it is slower than other bikes we own. Customer Rating: Summary: A bike your kid will like but limited quality for the price Comment: My 5 year old son likes his new bike because it is a Transformer bike. However, he does get frustrated by it's weight sometimes, especially trying to go up an incline. And I get frustrated because his seat is constantly crooked, and I can't seem to tighten it enough to make that stop happening. All in all, I would say buy this bike if your kid is really into Transformers, but otherwise you are probably better off with something a bit better built. Customer Rating: Summary: Not bad but not good either Comment: My 3 year old son loves this bike - Mainly because it's his first bike and it has Optimus Prime on it. That's the good part.
The bad part - this bike is cheap. Some parts broke before my son even rode it. I took them off and he never knew.
So, for learners this bike is ok, but if your kid rides a lot get something better.
