The question was raised--to chew or not. My recommendation is, don't chew until the chocolate is gone, then chew gently.

Comment: I've just tasted these and written to all my friends to tell them of my new addiction. If you love that strong Jamaican Ginger Beer, you will love these ginger mints! Wow! Go ahead and bite!
