Customer Rating: Summary: IT'S ok Comment: The buttons are too close to each other. If you don't mind pressing the wrong botton every once in a while. As far as helping my wrist it's to early to tell.
Customer Rating: Summary: Must have for RSI's Comment: The vertical design of this mouse enabled me to keep using my computer after I developed terrible elbow pains any time I use a regular mouse. Designed for wrist RSI's, but it works perfectly for my elbow tendonitis also.
Customer Rating: Summary: Vertical Mouse - AWESOME Comment: Evoluent VM3R2-RSB Vertical Mouse 3
After surviving carpal tunnel surgery many years ago, I ended up with what I call "Mouse Wrist" from spending hours upon hours playing computer games using a regular mouse. After only one month using the vertical mouse, my wrist is nearly pain free. It's a little odd to use at first, but like anything else, you have to use it to get used to it. It really is a great product and I highly recommend it to anyone who spends a lot of 'mouse' time.
Customer Rating: Summary: Wish I would of had before I needed carpal tunnel surgery Comment: Purchased this mouse AFTER having carpal tunnel surgery. It helped a great deal because when I returned to work 5 weeks after surgery my incision site and the swollen part of my hand were still store and they would rub on my desk. No more rubbing or arm strain! I like having the extra two buttons also. I use one for escape and one for enter. I am a CAD desiger and only wish i could find an ergonimic space ball/joy stick compatible with CAD. The only down fall is when you have to use your number pad, the mouse is big and you have to "reach" to get the keypad. I am considering the lefthanded keyboard just to eliminate this problem.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great Mouse Comment: I purchased the previous version a year ago. It's great. I had a problem with pain in my forearm from mousing. It's 95% better now. Any pain I have is probably from using the trackpad on my laptop instead of my desktop. I purchase this new one for one of my co-workers as she was having pain also. She loves it and says it's helping alleviate her pain.
