Customer Rating: Summary: Great onboard options Comment: First, I must praise Amazon. The first MB that I received had some kind of problem and it would "time out" after 3-5 minutes. I sent an email to Amazon and they sent me a new MB "overnite". The replacement works great. The onboard funchtions, sound, video, etc are very good and the four on board SATA I/O ports give good flexibility along with the back panel SATA port. Really a good board.
Customer Rating: Summary: DOA mainboard Comment: I was looking forward to using it for my wife's office computer since she doesn't need intense graphics, but must have the dual monitor setup. When I installed everything, I found that this motherboard was defective. I isolated all of the computer component according to Asus guidelines and everything pointed to the motherboard. I'm sending it back for a refund today because I bought an MSI board locally for a couple dollars more and everything worked perfectly. I can't really review how good this board is because it wouldn't work for me. Now I can only hope that I don't have issues with the return.
Customer Rating: Summary: Solid non-gamer motherboard Comment: This is a good stable MOMO. I'm using it with a AMD 6000+ CPU and 4GB of Consair TWINX DDR2 800MHz memory. This unit comes with both DVI and VGA outputs because this MOBO has a built in video card. It's fine for non-gamers. If you're a gamer go get a SLI or crossfire board and use two video cards (this board only supports one PCI express). The things preventing me from giving the product five stars is the HDMI output only goes up to 720p/1080i and cannot provide 1080p output. Additionally, the HDMI card takes up the only PCI express slot (I guess at some point video cards will have a HDMI port). Otherwise, this is a great value and a solid deal.
