Summary: Great Freezer, Crappy Shipping
Comment: Love the freezer, but the condition it arrived in not so great. The first attempt 3 bottom corners were crushed and the front and right sides were buckled. The second attempt there were dents from the straps that secure the box lid to the box tray. The "shipping" box is very poor and does not really protect the freezer that well. Because I really needed this freezer I accepted delivery even though there was minor aesthetic dents. I would not buy this item from Amazon because it is delivered by UPS, which is not used to delivering larger freight items like this. It arrives via the standard brown truck usually with one driver to handle an item that even states on the box is a two person lift. Again, this is a great little freezer, but it looks as though the packaging was not designed for shipping. They must lose many freezers to damage.

Summary: Poor quality: packaging and construction
Comment: When I made the decision to purchase this freezer there were only two reviews: one good, one poor. I assumed the poor review was more about poor expectations but was proven incorrect. Product arrived on time but external box portended further issues; as others have indicated the packaging is insufficient but that's only part of the story. The construction of the freezer is of very lightweight material, certainly sufficient operational but little hope of it arriving intact. Mine had to go back because one leveling foot would not function, it had been dropped hard enough on the corner to destroy it's function.
I really wanted to like this freezer for price/value and convenience of delivery but was disappointed, it was returned and I purchased my original Frigidaire decision locally for same price. Kudos to Amazon for making the return process very easy.

Comment: This freezer is an excellent value for the price. Like others stated, the manufacturer is skimpy with packaging so there were some dents. This was something I took into account when ordering it. The freezer is a good size, holds plenty and started cooling as soon as it was plugged in with no problems since. I would buy one again.

Summary: The freeze dosen't work
Comment: I am really really disappointed i got the freezer on time but it dosen't work i called several phone no. and was given several other phone no. to call no one responded. I am stuck with a freezer which dosen't work. I don't know who to contact now i called a phone no. and left thousand voice mails but never got a call back from the service dept.
Please do not buy anything from this vendor he is sending bad products and dosen't repond when contacted.

Summary: Poor packaging, big damage!
Comment: This item looks good on paper but its packaging is so flimsy that I had to return 2 different ones, the initial and the replacement, for severe damage to the metal casing. I ended up buying a different brand at Loews and that one has good protection and came home just fine.
