Summary: great fidelity, if you're sitting still
Comment: I have to second all of the positive reviews I've read here about the sound. I recently bought a pair of these to replace my OEM iPod headphones. The sound quality with these Skullcandy buds is noticeably better than the stock Apple headphones. The pricipal design difference is that while the iPod headphones rest just outside the ear canal, the earbuds fit snugly inside and create a seal. As a result, the bass response is terrific.

The design is also great if you want to shut off the outside world, but it creates a problem if you're exercising, or even walking for that matter. I've noticed that as I walk, the sound of the cord rattling and bounding around is transmitted to the earbuds and creates an annoying "rubbing" sound (almost a low squeak). It drives me nuts, and I never had anything resembling this with the stock iPod headphones. Otherwise, if it weren't for that, this would be a five-star buy.

Summary: Very Impressed
Comment: i have always stuck with the headphones that came with my ipod but the other day i was at a relatives house and he asked me if i wanted these because they didn't fit comfortably in his ears. always losing headphones and having friends that swore by these headphones i tried them out

i was quite impressed with the noise canceling while cutting the lawn. they also do have a left and right indicator on them but it is close to the inside of the silicone earpiece and hard to see if you dont carefully

these are the only pair of earbuds i have ever had with this kind of frequency response, holding up on even the deepest of songs and still keeping a crisp response and not sounding a bit tinny.

i only wish i had a pair of these sooner

and having listened to them would have expected a higher price

Summary: Great buds for sansa c250
Comment: I have a sansa c250 and these buds sound great. They are much better than the set that came with it. For 15 bucks I cant complain.

Summary: Awful!
Comment: My job allows me to be able to listen to music, podcasts, etc., during the day while I work. Usually I bring my iPod earphones with me, but yesterday I forgot them, so I went & bought a pair of these at lunchtime. Bad move! The sound quality was HORRIBLE, & they were extremely uncomfortable. First, I couldn't get them to stay in my ears, so I switched to the smaller rubber pieces that came with them. After that, they stayed in, but after a few minutes, they actually began making my ears sore. And, as I mentioned, the sound quality was awful. Hard to explain it, but everything sounded very distant or something. I kept the earphones at the office just for a spare pair, but I'll definitely be sticking to my iPod earphones from now on. They might cost a little more than the Skullcandy, but I'd recommend anyone splurge & go for the Apple ones instead.

Summary: Wow, just wow...
Comment: Just picked these up the other day at FYE's on sale for $9.50 including tax. I couldn't be more pleased. I'm using these with my iRiver Clix and the sound is very good. Over the last couple of years I've used over the ear headphones from Sony and Phillips with my Clix costing $30-$50 and these things blow those away. I've always been uneasy with the idea of using in ear headphones but when I saw the price on these I said what the heck and all I can say is I wish I had gotten these along time ago.
