Comment: Product works, installed just the operating system and my favorite games on this one, while installing everything else on my barracuda. Can't see too much of a difference, but according to 3dmark, my computer is running faster now ^_^

Comment: I have had 4 of these hard drive in two different computer running in a Raid 0 array : " stripping " - to double up there performance and disc space for over 3 years now . Fisrt off if you only have one of these with all your applications running from it - and store all you other data on a second hard drive the Raptor still outperforms it's competion in every aspect of performance that you can test - Windows loads almost twice as fast , and "three times as fast when you use 2 of them", applications start up in the snap of a finger , and it reduces load times of any video game installed. Im talking about Windows going from a 1 and a half minute start up before with a single standard drive - to a 20 seconds start up after the 2 drives were instatlled. What I did was run 2 of these bad boys together to double the speed and space " 36gb x 2 = 70gb and 10,000rpm x 2 = 20,000rpm worth of reading and writting speed, I then had a third hard drive which was a maxtor 320gb as my storage and backup drive - this combo was killer - you get everything you need - super quick running programs , and tons of space. This is a top notch investment - you wont be sorry !!!

Comment: Excelent untill now. Has almost 2 months and no failure. Very, very quiet, fast and cool. I use it for my graphics works, as a main disk. Just installed XPsp2 Pro 32 bit, Photoshop CS2, PerfectDisk 2008 and some utylities for the OS and HD care. Have a second HD for storage, a Seagate Barracuda sata 300, 250Gb, very fast also.The only think I don't understand is why has no SATA HD cable together and has no box, is comming in his plastic envelope only.

Summary: Highly Recommended For SATA RAID Arrays!
Comment: I have built several PC's with these drives in a RAID drive array in either Striping or Sprip & Mirror (3 or more) and they work fantastic!
The first pair I bought ran a dedicated game server for 3 years with no downtime, and are now part of a different PC and still going strong!
If you are looking for tremendous speed, but do not need a large amount of disk space, this drive is Perfect! At only 36 gigs, a pair of these in RAID array makes 70 gig or so of space, which is more than enough for many applications which do not generate a large amount of stored data.
I currently run 6 of these drives. Enjoy!
